The process for such a small company took forever, it was very up and down, and one of the issues they were trying to hire someone to help fix was the culture and complaints/attitudes from the staff. They made an offer and recinded it after stating they were hiring an internal candidate, even though I was told in the initial interview there weren't any internal candidates that qualified. How everything was handled shows the bad culture comes from the top and trickles down. This is an issue that leadership as a whole has allowed to seep into and effect the success of the organization as a whole. There is no "one person" that can change this. Happy I dodged this bullet.
