I applied for a technical support position only a couple hours after it was posted. I met all of the qualifications listed, I was very qualified. The next day I was told to do a video interview. I did it, seemed easy. Then a week or so later I got a letter saying I wasnt qualified for the position. I couldnt believe it. I easy meet all of the qualifications listed, and I didnt even have a real interview. A few months later a coworker of mine ended up getting the job even though he had half the skills I have, maybe less. I was completely floored. I recently have re-applied at a similiar position, but this time I haven't even got a video interview. I dont get it. I meet all the qualifications and my resume looks great, but they won't talk to me, but they'll hire people with a lot less experience. I don't get it. I can't explain it.
