      Candidatura

Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Unum.

      Entrevista

After I submitted my application, I received an email informing me that I had advanced to the assessment and virtual interview phase, which needed to be completed within five days. The assessment was extremely easy. The virtual interview was a bit awkward, but only because you're essentially talking to and recording yourself after being prompted with a question. You are given one minute to gather your thoughts before responding, and you have up to three attempts to record your answer, although I have heard they can see how many attempts you make. It consisted of six "give me a time questions." A few days later, I received another email stating that I was moving forward in the process and was invited to schedule a phone interview with a recruiter. You simply click the scheduling link, select a time that works for you, and receive a confirmation email that includes your recruiter's name. The phone interview lasted about 30 minutes. My recruiter reviewed my résumé and asked why I was seeking employment elsewhere. The conversation flowed very naturally and felt more like a discussion than an interview. She explained the various roles available and advised me that I was being considered for all four positions because they want to place candidates where they are most likely to succeed. Toward the end of the phone interview, she asked three behavioral questions to assess my skills and experience. She then explained that she would submit my information to the hiring panel to determine whether they wanted to move forward with a final interview, which would be conducted via Teams. She told me she would have an update by Friday, which was four days away. However, she called me back later that same afternoon and informed me that the hiring team wanted to interview me. I selected a time slot for a few days later. The final interview consisted of an hour-long conversation that included a scenario-based assessment. The interviewers asked approximately eight behavioral and situational questions. They were incredibly welcoming and skilled in their delivery, which made the conversation feel natural and helped ease my nerves. Honestly, this was one of the best interview experiences I have ever had because of the managers' interviewing skills and professionalism. However, behavioral interviews are hard and I did my best. They concluded the interview by discussing next steps and what to expect moving forward. The following morning, I received my verbal offer from HR and began the onboarding process. From application submission to virtual interview, phone screening, final interview, and verbal offer, the entire process took exactly two weeks. I would polish your skills around the STAR interviewing method if you're interested in these positions, because you have to have strong examples to prove your analytical skills during all of the interview stages.
