Phone interview with HR = pre-screening. Positive on the outcome and happy with my background / cv, yet questions regarding salary expectations and if my profile was too senior for the role. They eventually came back to me after almost two months confirming those concerns and not going ahead with the current application. They offered to contact me again when a VP role became available. All in all friendly yet a big silence in between first interview and the next conversation, even though I sent them a couple of follow up emails and even a friend who works at Visa had enquired on my behalf about the status of the application.
