I applied online for a People Partner role and was contacted for a phone screen. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The recruiter spent the first 10 minutes talking about the company rather than the role itself and seemed to have difficulty clearly describing the position. It felt unorganized, as if they were unprepared for the conversation.
I was told I’d hear back within a week, but it’s now been **two months**, and I’ve received no update. This lack of communication is a major red flag. I also learned that the last person in this role only lasted a year, and the HR team runs extremely lean—both concerning signs for long-term success. Additionally, the pay is quite low compared to the expectations of the role.
Overall, this was a **poor candidate experience**, and I would advise others to approach opportunities here with caution. A company’s hiring process reflects its internal culture, and based on this experience, I would not recommend it.
