Interview
researching interview. It went smoothly and was very informative. We discussed projects that are runing the lab and all the future possibilities in our area. In addition, we discussed about how life is in NY in a perspective of a postdoctoral researcher and my future career goals.

Entrevista
The interview process was straightforward. First, I had an initial video call with the PI where we walked through my research background, recent projects, and how my skills fit the lab’s direction. After that, I met with a few lab members, mostly to talk through ongoing work and get a sense of the daily environment. The questions were technical but fair-more about understanding how I think through problems than testing memorized details. The overall pace was reasonable, and communication was clear throughout. It gave me a good picture of both the expectations and the culture.

The one question that stood out was when the PI asked me to walk through a complex project from start to finish not just the results, but how I handled setbacks, data issues, and decision-making along the way.

Entrevista
After submitting my application online, a month later I received an email for an interview from a professor in the department and an on-site presentation/interview was scheduled. I presented my PhD dissertation for ~45 min. and was asked a lot of questions about my research findings and potential problems and perspective in general.
