Lol, you're not hired , simply because you're not good enough for the job. It has nothing to do with h1b. Employers who sponsor like google, facebook ,garmin .... actually have to pay a lot of money for the the h1-b application and that don't even guarantee the application will get thru the lottery. Salary is always competitive, companies will always try to find a cheaper source to get the same job done. That's call economics.
