I have always loved working with the public and I love to read! Seems like a win-win for anyone who is a book worm who likes to give back. You just need to be someone who DOES actually like working with the public. While it seems very easy going, public customer service work is not for the faint of heart. I did end up dealing with some not so nice, and not so intelligent patrons but if you just keep a cool head you can get through anything.
