Telephone interview. There was basically only one question: Which machine learning techniques have you applied so far? I replied with an initial answer. Taking it from there, we got into a discussion that allowed the interviewer to assess my skills. The whole thing went about 30 minutes. The interviewer was very friendly, but I found her a bit reserved as well.
