Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Zscaler (Akron, OH).
Entrevista
Highly efficient interview process, respectful and communicative. Multiple interviews with stake holders ,and a final panel review which is a standard process in the software industry. That said, there where no huge time gaps between the interviews. Once one interview is done they move on to the next fast. They did not have to reschedule any calls either.
The technical part of the interview process was in depth. I recommend that you come prepared and to learn as much as possible about what the Zscaler does in the market and watch some examples on their product pitch.
There was a lot of focus on soft skills so come relaxed and answer questions with candor.
The offer letter was very detailed so you know what you're getting.
The onboarding process is stellar. They get you going quickly and you are immediately setup with the tools you need to get started.
Was a decent interview, did a number of rounds but I was ultimately ghosted. Didn't feel like my performance was the best anyways but nonetheless I showed up, was hoping they'd do the same for me.

Interview Process:
Initial recruiter screen
Call with hiring manager
Technical interview with Principal SE
Week of radio silence
Rejection via voicemail citing "not technical enough"
Pros:
The technical interviewer was knowledgeable about the products
Territory seemed to have genuine opportunity
Cons:
Red Flags About Role Transparency: Both the recruiter and hiring manager gave conflicting stories about why the position was open. The hiring manager mentioned an "advanced candidate in process" but promised "fair evaluation" - this should have been my first warning sign. If you already have a preferred candidate, why waste everyone's time?
Poor Communication: After a rushed technical interview, I heard nothing for a full week despite being told they were moving quickly. The recruiter finally left a vague voicemail about not being "technical enough" - no specific feedback or areas for improvement. For a company expecting enterprise-level professionalism, their candidate communication is surprisingly poor.
Questionable Technical Assessment: Despite 15+ years in IT and 10 years in sales engineering with companies like Dell/EMC and recent experience at Sumo Logic (a direct competitor in security/observability), I was deemed "not technical enough." The technical interview covered DNS over HTTPS and HTTP versions but barely touched on actual sales engineering scenarios or customer-facing skills they claimed were critical.
Rushed Yet Slow: The technical interview felt rushed, yet the overall process dragged with poor follow-up. They emphasized their "90-day training program" and "extensive tribal knowledge" requirements, but then rejected candidates for not already knowing their specific product details.
Would not recommend interviewing here unless you're desperate or have inside connections. The lack of transparency and poor communication are likely indicators of larger organizational issues.
