There were 4 rounds of interviews as well as a coding challenge consisting of a few basic UI HTML + JS questions as well as a coding component where they asked me to create a UI element from scratch.

3 Rounds of phone interviews. Recruiters were friendly. The engineers were late for the interviews (15 minutes and 1 hour). Interviewers did not seem prepared. Postponed final decision repeatedly (got an answer after a month of the promised date).

Best interview process ever had. HR and interviewers are all kind, supportive, and professional. Took 3 months with 5 rounds of interview. Interview questions are challenging but interviewers are very helpful

Online Assessment with 3-4 MCQs and 2 coding problems. Got an update on assessment after a week and then HR scheduled 4 technical rounds one after another.
More focus was on Java than tricky algorithms.

First Round, It was an hour-long video call interview. They asked me question on JAVA and two coding questions.
Java basic question, object, class, access specifier, final, finally, finalize, JVM, difference between sleep and wait ?
Coding question: 1. best time to sell and buy?
2. reverse the the digits?

Entrevista

Sent me a glider link. I'm normally not a fan of these softwares that invade privacy, but since covid-19 has made the economy so bad I was desperate. I broke no rules, yet when I searched up documentation, the glider software complained that I cheated and I would be reported. Another time when I was just looking at the screen, the glider ai again complained I was looking away and I had once again cheated. This really messed with me as I got thrown off and became really stiff, too afraid to do anything. I emailed the recruiter, and she said she got no complaints from the software. Overall, not a good experience.

I approached a hiring manager directly through an email, who was very impressed by my profile and the my sales target numbers (I have been a top performer through out my career). I was introduced to a recruiter and was informed that a new person for the region will come on board in March 2020 and will be the hiring manager for this position.
I followed the company on LinkedIn and reached out to the new hiring manager in March but received no response. I saw today that they have hired another person who started in this role in May. While I do wish the best for this person, I don't see anything in his profile or experience which makes him better suited for this role. I have more relevant experience and my sales numbers are way better. Took me about 10 mins to find out from LinkedIn that the hiring manager had worked with an ex-colleague of the new hire, as they discussed their past connection in a LinkedIn post congratulating the new hire.

I have no issues that they didn't hire me but what was essentially wrong, and makes it a strong case of 'Nepotism', is that candidate with a much better profile, relevant experience and sales numbers (quota achievement) was not even considered. I wouldn't have posted this if they had at least interviewed me before rejecting me. 

I will never join this company because for me 'Nepotism' is another form of corruption, and a strong sign of the decay when it seeps into an organization.

Applied in February 2020 as a 1L student. Got the interview within one week of applying. First round is phone interview with recruiter. Second round is a video conference call with attorneys from the company.
