Fiz uma entrevista na empresa adQuadrant (Irvine, CA).
Entrevista
Straightforward. No frills. Very personable. No test. They were very honest and straightforward about what was expected. It was a very worthwhile experience. There was only 3 rounds. 2 rounds were with people that I would be working with directly and the 3rd was with one of the VP's who just anted to meet me before I was hired.

every once in a while, you get the “old-school” interviewer who comes in like a drill sergeant. They rapid-fire intimidating, outdated interview questions, stare you down when you don’t have the world’s best answer on the spot, and make you feel like I’m on trial instead of in a conversation. It always throws me off because so many other interviews have been collaborative and positive.
And it makes me ask: why? What’s the purpose of trying to intimidate candidates? It doesn’t show strength, it doesn’t highlight culture fit, and it definitely doesn’t make me want to work there. If anything, it tells me the environment might be just as judgmental and fear-driven as the interview itself.

What are your strengths/weaknesses? Why do you want to work here?
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou mais de 5 meses. Fui entrevistado pela adQuadrant (Cincinnati, OH) em out. de 2023

There were 4 rounds of interviews: one screener, two video calls, and a take-home assignment. The interviews were pleasant and everyone I met with was great. The take home assignment was a little tough but nothing out of the ordinary. After submitting my take-home assignment, I never heard back from them. I sent a follow-up email the subsequent week and that was also ignored, It didn't feel great to be ignored after spending roughly 10 hours on the assignment. I expected more from adQuadrant. To reach the end of the line to then be ghosted frankly sucks and is hurtful. Just to reiterate, everyone I spoke with from adQuadrant presented themselves as nothing less than professional. This is not a knock on any of the employees there and I'm sure this is a wonderful place to work.
