I applied via LinkedIn and had a call with the recruiter and then a first stage interview with the hiring manager. Standard interview to understand level of competence for the role, industry and a couple of more technical questions related to the industry . After the 1st stage interview I was told that I would hear within a week... I didn't and chased the in house recruiter twice and then had to send a message on LinkedIn to the hiring manager to get feedback as I was already aware by then I wasn't getting the role. I think it this very hard market, a lot of candidates are anxious the one thing the recruiter could have done was keep candidates updated rather than them having to chase for feedback via LinkedIn - very embarrassing especially since I interviewed for the role.
