I received an email from the CEO and scheduled an interview time with him. On the day of the interview, we spoke a wide variety of things, from business planning and goals to future career potential for me, as well as company goals. In the end, I thought the CEO was a great person and looked forward to his response by email a few days later. The only reason why I declined was because the offer was a pay cut from what I was making at my previous job.
