What steps did you take to deal with a problematic vendor who is delaying the project?

Review the contract and SLA the vendor has signed and setup a meeting to review the failures to meet timely delivery. Stress the importance of the services being provided and state the timelines can no longer slip and enforcement of the contracts will be required going forward. In parallel begin to review contingencies and seek bids from competing vendors with stronger SLA and deadline terms. Menos
