Candidatei-me por meio de uma agência de recrutamento. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela hedgehog lab (Newcastle upon Tyne, Inglaterra) em jan. de 2025
Entrevista
The interview consists of three stages. The screening interview with an in-house HR partner went well, and I was given a take-home project. The project was the largest I have ever received from any company - it consisted of three pages of requirements. They required building a dockerized Image Sharing API (full unit tests required) with optional CI/CD pipelines. Because the project asked for so many things, it took days to finish.
After submitting the project, the recruiter told me they liked my submission, and I was invited to the final technical interview with the manager and tech lead. The last stage interview was about going through my assignment and answering some additional behavioral-type questions. After that, I never heard back from the recruiter or the company, despite following up multiple times.
Since the take-home project takes so long (it’s basically a fully-fledged social media API!), and the company just ghosts you afterward - never again for this company. If a candidate invests so much of their time, the least they expect is some feedback (good or bad).
I have three categories for companies:
1) Companies that call or have a separate meeting to provide constructive feedback after the last stage even if it is a rejection.
2) Companies that send emails with their final decision.
3) Hedgehog Lab.
