As a job candidate, I really enjoyed iCIMS interview process for their Marketing Analytics Internship. I had a 30 minute phone interview with a university recruiter during September. Come up with some questions you have about the company or the position before this interview. because the recruiter was able to answer every question i had. It was also a great opportunity to communicate what you were looking for during your time at iCIMS. About a month later, I had an on-site interview with iCIMS, where I answered more in depth questions from three teams in iCIMS' Marketing department. This was also a great time to ask more detailed questions about what each team does at iCIMS, and learn about the company as a whole. Overall, it was a very welcoming visit. The last step was completing a skills test from one of the teams that I had interviewed with during the on-site.

Given that this company provides recruiting software and employment solutions to other businesses, it is extremely disappointing that their interviews are conducted so poorly. I heard about iCims through a previous internship because the company I worked for had a business relationship with Bell Works, which is the new space iCims is moving into. I was very excited to discuss how I found out about the company and all of my relevant experience. Unfortunately, the interviewer was extremely rushed, distracted, and vague. The phone interview lasted about 10-15 minutes and was supposed to last about 30 minutes. The recruiter failed to provide any real answers to the questions I asked and represented the company poorly. I would not reapply to iCims.
