Entrevista
I received a referral, so I skipped the recruiter call. Had a 30min chat with the hiring lead for a different role that I was not a good fit for, but they were willing to consider me for this role instead. The next step was a technical screen which was (presumably) designed to test statistical knowledge and how familiar you were with python. The interviewers were interested in your thought process and happy to help and work with you to guide you along. I then had a whole panel interview (was supposed to be onsite, but was remote/virtual due to logistics reasons) that lasted ~6-7 hours spread over 2 days which consisted of me giving a seminar about my PhD research (45mins+15mins for questions, though the questioning was not a dedicated time at the end but rather interspersed with the talk at relevant points) and meeting with ~10 people for ~30mins each. People had different questions depending on their specific field of expertise, but I don't think I was necessarily expected to know the answer to everything (I definitely misspoke on some very basic ML concepts because I was rusty, but it turned out ok)
