How many interviews did you have for this position and did you have the background check email done on you? I am in the same situation and interviewed for this position also ....to date not one single word from recruiter or hiring manager. Menos

I went on 2 interviews. One was with the hiring managers and one was with the head of operations manager. Yes they did send me an email about the background check but after a month when they send they I kept emailing the recruiter and she always said she will get back to me but never did. I then emailed the recruiter over here and she was saying they are delayed due to July 4th. About a couple days later I got an email sent to me basically saying I wasn't selected. After that long application and background check I thought I had it but after a month or so I realized that I should have heard back from them...The job is a joke and they are unorganized over there. Also someone told me there hire for that position internally a lot so they are wasting other people time from the outside. Menos

I am in the same situation also. It's been about a month and still have not heard from anyone. They sent me the background check emailed as well. I tried emailing the hiring manager and all they said is "When I hear something I will get back to you!" Well its been well over a month and last night I received an email saying I wasn't selected. Complete waste of time! They shouldn't let it drag for that long without letting us know anything! This lets you know a lot about a company when they do things like that! Menos

Tell us about a time when you had two conflicting choices and had to use your judgement to move forward?

You should look at the original job posting and note the competencies that the job is asking for. For example, they can be "judgement", "inter personal communication", "analysis" etc. Each competency will have some "sub units" in its breakdown. It is nearly impossible to guess how to prove you have these competencies unless you can get your hands on a competency framework. Internal candidates have access to them, that is why internal candidates have the competitive advantage. When you are screened in for an exam or interview, you must contact the hiring manager or the group that has posted the job and ask for the competency framework. It will be like a study guide. All of the written answers or oral responses in the interview will need to use the words and phrases of the competency framework. Menos

On your last review tell me some thing you were ask to work on?

CNA Insurance needs to be more professional with the people who take their time to come to the interviews.... Have some manners and be more preofessional to let candidates know thank you that we have selected another applicant. Menos

Very unprofessional and definitely agree with you two. The waste of peoples time and no consideration. Not a good look at all and even HR is a disgrace because you contact them for status/updates no response so that shows you that they represent their company quite well Menos

Same here! I interviewed with them and my recruiter never got back to me or H.R. I received an email 2 months later saying I didn't get it. I'm glad I didn't get it because that tells you how much they care about their employees there. Sad! Menos
