How would I hire 1000 engineers without an interview?

It's easy if you are going for quantity over quality. The question didn't specify. Menos

By a designed program, in my practical experience, we call it " on-job-training." simply, school enrollment methods. However, this type of interview Qs often came less-detailed to determine behavioral responses from the candidate. Menos

Arrogance is common among many agencies which have big clients like banks. Recruiters must understand that on average they are too young to act as if they knew the market. Good recruiters are rare and usually they are > 30yo. Things will change soon as Social Networks will bypass old-fashioned recruitment. Best companies clearly state on the career section they don't accept recruitment agencies. Menos

I too have the same problem with Hay's, applied for about 7-8 roles which I was a perfect fit for and had all the skills to go with it. Got no response from Hay's and didn't even have the decency to call and say the client didn't like your profile. Very unprofessional had to chase many times and didn't even get a call back...absolutely useless! Menos

They ask you this to make sure that you did your research on what you are interviewing for and to make sure there is some form of investment on your part. Menos

Honestly, I possess all the skills and experience that you’re looking for. I’m pretty confident that I am the best candidate for this job role. It’s not just my background in the past projects, but also my people skills, which will be applicable in this position. On the other hand, I am a self motivated person and I try to exceed my superior’s expectations with high-quality work. Being a fast learner, I quickly pick up business knowledge related to my project. Lastly, I would like to add that I work well both as an individual contributor and also as a team member. Collectively, all these skills put together makes me a complete package for this job. Menos

The answer was to provide thoughts and logic that is beyond of this planet. To prepare to think and solution in a manner that is far out of the norm and traditional. Menos

They have a very high passing score. If you fail, you don't get the job.

The high passing score and personality test requirement for high dominance/low patience profiles only creates an environment of overbearing, smart but egotistical people with little or no domain expertise. In other words, superiors who will treat you condescendingly but not actually know anything about the details of the business or key product functionality. Run - don't walk -- before even taking the tests. Focus your efforts in finding a position with a more functional organization. Menos


They asked a million questions- the same ones every interview. Emotionally exhausting.
