We recognise there are many different religious holidays within the year which align to different faiths and that, where UK bank holidays are aligned to a faith they are only aligned to the Christian religion. So, after taking on board feedback from our people and consulting with our Employee Forum representatives, we’re really proud to launch a religious bank holiday swap benefit as the newest addition to our Leave and Absence policy. This entitlement allows individuals to swap the Easter bank holidays (Good Friday and/or Easter Monday) for alternative religious holidays during the year that align with their faith. This is in the spirit of supporting diversity of religious faith across the Group
