We recently visited Osceola Elementary School in St. Augustine, Florida to spend time with the school’s ESE classes. Lately, the students have had something new each month to see and learn about, including visits featuring police cars, fire trucks, and more. Big pour, smooth execution! This morning, Baldwin and Jax Central teamed up to deliver 600 yards of concrete for a new hangar at Cecil Airport and wrapped it up safe and smooth. Cecil Airport has come a long way from its WWII-era Navy roots. Once a military airfield, it now operates as a modern center for flight training and commercial cargo, carrying its aviation legacy into a new era.

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the 3rd Annual PMI Chili Cook Off! We shared laughs, judged some incredible chili, and collected socks for The City Rescue Mission’s “Warm Feet” program, helping keep Jacksonville’s unhoused community warm this winter.
Yesterday we had the privilege of hosting 25 students and 2 teachers at the Odessa RM Plant for Career Day and WHC. From exploring native plants and wildlife habitats to touring the ready mix, block, QC plants, and the shop, it was a hands-on look at our operations and conservation efforts!
Driving awareness, one yard at a time. This Saturday our Alzheimer’s Awareness truck proudly served as the midway point for this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. For every yard of concrete hauled by the purple truck, we donated $1 to support the Alzheimer’s Association. At Preferred Materials, we’re committed to building stronger communities and supporting the causes that touch the lives of our employees, families, and neighbors.
