Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site SDET – Test Automation role based in São Paulo. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to design scalable automation frameworks, improve test infrastructure, and influence product quality through data-driven insights. This role is engineering-heavy and requires hands-on development experience. Success is defined by technical depth, framework quality, and measurable improvements to test coverage and execution efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies and apply risk-based testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and supporting tools
• Build automated tests, API hooks, and tooling to improve reliability and coverage
• Analyze workflows and pipelines to identify efficiency improvements
• Implement metrics and reporting to communicate quality status and risk trends
• Contribute to sprint planning, technical discussions, and engineering reviews
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress and risks effectively

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as an SDET, Software Tools Engineer, or similar role
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C# (JavaScript experience is a plus)
• Solid experience with automation frameworks and API testing
• Ability to analyze test data and guide quality decisions
• Confidence collaborating with senior engineers and technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset and commitment to sustainable engineering practices

Nice to Have

• Experience building internal tools or custom automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Playwright or modern UI automation tools
• Experience with AWS or GCP
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build system integration
• Performance testing experience
• Passion for video games and interactive systems
