1) Data Requirements Gathering & Analysis

a) Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements through meetings, workshops, and discussions.
b) Translate business needs into data requirements, KPIs, and measurable metrics.
c) Perform data gap analysis to identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data across systems.

2) Data Management & Governance

a) Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across multiple data sources.
b) Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data definitions, and metadata documentation.
c) Implement data validation and cleansing processes to maintain integrity.

3) Data Modeling & Analysis

a) Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
b) Design and maintain data models to support reporting and business intelligence needs.
c) Use statistical techniques and analytical tools to interpret complex datasets.

4) Reporting & Dashboard Development

a) Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
b) Create automated reports and performance scorecards aligned with business objectives.
c) Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

5) SQL & Database Management

a) Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
b) Work closely with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and database performance.
c) Support ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow across systems.

6) Advanced Analytics & Forecasting

a) Perform trend analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics where applicable.
b) Develop statistical models to support business decision-making.
c) Provide scenario analysis and data-driven recommendations.

7) Testing & Validation

a) Validate reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
b) Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for data reports and analytics solutions.
c) Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.

8) Documentation

a) Maintain comprehensive documentation including Data Requirement Documents (DRDs), dashboards logic, KPI definitions, and data flow diagrams.
b) Document SQL scripts, calculations, and business rules for future reference.
