Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to help shape the company’s people strategy: implementing improved systems, introducing foundational policies, and working to create a culture that support both employees and leaders. There is genuine momentum in building a more robust HR function, with noticeable improvements in internal communications, collaborative teamwork between HR and the business, and employee engagement.

As with any organization undergoing change, there’s still more to do and more progress to be made, but I’m encouraged by the positive steps so far and optimistic about the direction in which we’re headed.

From day one, the team culture has been welcoming and collaborative. Managers are accessible and genuinely supportive, and there’s a clear emphasis on growth and development. Compensation is fair, and the company feels very stable.

As someone who’s still fairly new, there’s a lot to learn at once. The amount of information during onboarding can feel a bit overwhelming at first.
