Contras
They consider policy a "kicking off point" instead of something an employee can refer to as standards. This allows for interpretation of the policy on the part of the employer and vague rules for the employee. They constantly threaten firing if the employee gives too much pushback. The ceo said there was a time she almost didn't pay her employees because of mismanagement of finances. She is also likes to say she "doesn't get paid very much" after telling us the company is worth 5 million while paying her employees $15hr. The managers the ceo has hired are too scared to address problems regarding the ceo. There was an instance in which the ceo was making so much noise no one could do their work but the manager made it clear she would not ask the ceo to let us continue in silence. They also consider it a "family" environment. Meaning, the owner and ceo hires her family for high paying positions in the company and pays them well.
