Citrine doesn't have the greatest track record for the way they've treated their engineering teams in the past, which had resulted in large turnover. With a renewed commitment to being not just a productive place to work, but a place that engineers look forward to working at, they've started to turn that around.
Contras
In the short term we have a hiring shortage, but in true "listening to engineering" fashion, the result is that work is scaled down to match team size. Retainment has already gone up and I'm confident it will stay that way as more people are added.
