      The company has a strong team environment. There are many talented and dedicated people. Everyone collaborates to meet deadlines and produce quality work. There is a variety of client projects as well as research projects to try new technologies. There are also opportunities for training and to attend developer conferences. Because it is a small company, your work and ideas make a big impact. The PTO policy is very generous.

      Contras

      Tight deadlines can be stressful sometimes, though the team always pulls together and the outcome is rewarding.

      Prós

      Great team members and ability to work from home! This company is a great place to work as a medical writer -- whether you are just starting out at an entry-level position or in a more advanced role. Most if not all writers are working 100% from home but there are plenty of opportunities to collaborate with others so it doesn't feel like I'm isolated. I love that I'm always learning new things and, because of that, assignments are never boring.

      Contras

      Client pressures are certainly a factor but our project managers and content leads do a great job helping to manage client expectations and project timelines.

      Confrontational/unprofessional employees not handled appropriately by management, attitude was to just "deal with it".
