The schedule, hours, pay, job security and benefits (insurance, time off, etc) are all great, but what really sets Digital Engineering apart is the caliber of people within the company. The old saying 'attitude starts at the top and trickles down' is SO true with the owners/company leads. Everyone was positive and upbeat, incredibly approachable and the overall environment makes for a great place to work.
Excellent starting salary, skilled and attentive management, varied types of projects/work allows wide range of skills to be developed. Excellent benefits offered. Schedule is 9/9/9/9/4 which is an ideal way to work 40 hour weeks. Infrequent overtime needed. Outstanding working environment, which is helped by good management practices.
Contras
Bonuses somewhat lackluster. Annual raises typically just above inflation, though this is typical of the industry. Administration is a bit top-heavy, though this may be excused due to the requirements of business development and marketing needed for a smaller firm.
