Prós

If you are young, inexperienced and have little options then Thoughtcorp may be a good choice to get exposure to different things.

Contras

Leadership divided, no vision or strategy, somewhat of a sweat shop and very little learning opportunities. Too much favouritism with certain people and a lack of expertise in any area really limits the amount of learning you can do. The owners are nice and interesting but really don't bring anything to the table in terms of expertise. The same goes for the senior management. I doubt any of them would land a senior role in a bigger firm.

Amazing team—very collaborative, supportive, and welcoming from day one. Strong leadership, my manager is incredibly supportive and gives you autonomy to take ownership and bring new ideas forward. There is a well-structured environment—processes are clear, well explained and continuously improving. Great opportunities to learn; many trainings and tools available to support professional growth. People genuinely care about each other and create a positive work environment.

In some cases, coordination across teams can take extra time
