Free coffee of course, free food, fairly laid-back work environment.

I was hired under the assumption that I would be working full-time. What that actually translated to was max 29 hours per week. Because the location where I worked said employees working 30+ hours/week were full-time employees and so entitled to benefits like health insurance. So of course no-one ever got 30 hours. We were pressured to sell more muffins, since those were the real money-makers. When hours were cut we were told to push food items to raise revenue to get them back. I finally emailed corporate to say that morale was low due to how few hours we were getting. I received an email in response saying my message was inappropriate, I obviously lacked motivation, and that I should speak with my manager (who I had already spoken with). My hours were unsurprisingly cut further after this. Corporate didn't pay contractors who fixed our ice machine, refrigerator, etc. Eventually they of course refused to come when we called them until they were paid. We ended up trading a fellow vendor coffee for ice for weeks. The location where I worked was actually the sister of another one nearby. This one was located near army barracks. The same 3-4 pretty, flirtatious girls were scheduled there. They regularly reached and exceeded their "muffin targets" and received praise from corporate. Their tips were also considerably more than at my location.
