      Good to pay the complete salary.

      Contras

      The management is clueless as to what they want. They hire people and then they want to get rid of them by unnecessary micro management. They did not give any benefits that they mentioned before joining the company. They promised work life balance before joining the company, but later on were just reluctant to give wfh even once that too when the health was too bad. Did not cooperate at all. Very bad experience.

      HRB is constantly working to improve the culture and create a space for collaborating and belonging, whether you are virtual or in the KC Metro.

      Contras

      Payscale doesn't seem to accurately match similiar companies headquartered in KC.

      Prós

      If you get in the right office you can have amazing coworkers and can learn so much. You can gain a ton of experience and knowledge if you are willing to work and collaborate with other preparers. Training is robust and is there for you to utilize and work your way up to higher salary. The potential to earn a full years salary working for half the year once trained up to a higher level and build your book of business.

      Contras

      Communication is often not the best and in the offseason you are off boarded or get reduced salary and only work a day or two a week
