They treat their office people well enough
Contras
Low pay, especially for people on the factory floor. The only employees i2 tech could attract were either people with a criminal record and nowhere else to go or first generation immigrants. They did not invest in air conditioning for factory floor workers. When it got hot, it was unbearable on the floor. Upper management was always complaining about not being able to find reliable workers. They always talked about people on their phones, never about providing a livable wage.
From the beginning of my time there, I was very open about not having enough to do. I don't see the point in working 50 hours if I don't even have enough to fill a 30 hour work week. After 2 years, they decided to let me go with no warning. Fair enough, but when someone tells you they don't have enough to do from week 1, maybe don't wait 2 years before deciding to do something about it.
