      I liked the team I was on in the beginning. The blastroom is a good tool if you need help with blanks.

      Contras

      Stressful, emails daily from the owner with threats of termination and her ridiculous expectations. Managers have no idea what is going on with their own assigned accounts. Owner makes new changes and the next day says nevermind. Very confusing to know what you are supposed to do and not do. She fires people constantly and then demands for other MTs to pick up the slack on an account they have NEVER worked on. Things got so ridiculous last weekend, half her workforce quit or was fired, forcing her to subcontract to other companies now. Pay rate is 6.5 cents for under 5000 lines. They only require 4000 lines for full time status, but they do not tell you that half the time you are uploading into the hospital system and you DO NOT get paid for this. Claims to be family oriented and godly, but then treats her staff badly and is very disrespectful in her old red demanding emails. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

      I have worked for this company almost since the beginning and know the owner who is always trying to make InScribe a better place. They are known in the industry for their quality work and customer satisfaction. I find it interesting when other companies are loosing business theyInScribe continues to grow. Most of these negatives are from people who see their prospective. If they were responsible, committed and hard working they would not find this issues to be true. Yes you are an independent contractor....you know that when you start....so what is the beef after saying no benefits, etc? Maybe in another year or so when you find yourself completely unemployed you will change your tune. If you haven't figured it out yet many companies are going out of business I wonder why?

      The biggest challenge is finding people who what to work to get the job done and take pride in their work. Being an medical transcriptionist is a very important responsible profession. You are dealing with people's lives and the work you do needs to be right. If you want an easy job go work in W.....rt.
