Prós

Most non-senior management employees are smart, nice and hard working people

Structure issue: Toxic and dysfunctional co-dependency between OGs and senior management is the source of all problems. Business relies on the existing client base of OGs. Lack of training and mentoring others has resulted in the dependency of the company. Work: The work was considered superb at one point but these days just recycled cookie cutter project design and the same formula repeated. Presentations resemble each other closely and lack new thinking or ideas, as Directors and Strategists are forced to follow precedence and create the vision of the VPs - discouraged to think for themselves. I get that they want to keep the "insync quality" but honestly I feel it's an excuse in many cases as it's much easier to recreate what's known and tested. No innovation is happening because the fear of making their power and influence obsolete is greater than the care for the future of the company. Very unfortunate. Office Environment: Company gets thrown into a frequent crisis mode to manage one person's emotional outbursts, temper tantrums and hysteria. Bullying, lying, yelling, toxic manipulation are all common incidents here and HR is not able to do anything about it due to power structure issues. Many workers have been brought to tears or psychological distress. HR will listen, promise to do something about it, and nothing changes as they can't put down consequences. Most workers bond over the shared hate and unhappiness but are forced to fake niceness in fear of retaliation. Also, just because a senior leader works 90 hours a week, does not mean that person is a good worker or should be sympathized with - that is a result of not being able to coach others and trust them with their capabilities. It sets an unhealthy expectation. It is remarkable how this working behaviour is used to shame others, while the truth is that it's serving a very personal need to feel valuable and important by being constantly busy and in touch with clients. Bottom Line: Don't work here. Even if they promise a good salary - not worth the mental and emotional stress. Empty promises of change and transparency. Neither exist. I feel for all those battling it out at this place, including the senior management team based in the US. Oh, and FYI - many of the positive reviews here were written by workers who were told by the VPs to do so, to combat the negative reviews. I have no proof but have been told that was the case when the "discrimination" posts started to pop up. So yeah, take them with a bucket of salt.
