Prós

I was working out of Bangalore and the only advantage is work timings which are 7.30AM to 4.30PM. Which would avoid lot of traffic when commuting to whitefield. That was the reason I joined this company.

Contras

There are lot: The is very little to no growth once you join the organization. The hikes does not happen every year and even if it happens its below industry standards The company is not technology focused and still work with older tools The project management is really poor as there is lack of visibility in the projects Onsite opportunity is rare and even if you are lucky they would send you for 3 - 4 weeks The finance department taxes your reimbursements also. The top management does not listen to people and the company is semi-government. The reason why its semi government is that when there are deliverable then you are expected to stay late or work from home in late hours and join calls from home. Lot of meetings held in out of office hours due to no overlap between the work timings in US and India.

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Contras

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
