Lower level management(group) is competent an overall decent persons.

High level management (owner) and HR is incompetent and outright inhuman. I was notified that I'm laid off in an email containing about 15 words, after a decade of working there. Bonus points for sanding the email 10 minutes after my work email was disabled. I was called a sack of potatoes(referring to that I'm worth a fixed amount someone is willing to pay for it) by the owner of the company after the second month of my employment. This was because i dared to ask where is the raise that we agreed on once my trial period is over, which they did not give and only got a promise of it in another three months. The sole job of HR is to be a buffer between the owner and employees to rebuff any attempt to get a raise. Wages are 2/3 at best of what is generally considered average in the industry.
