Prós

The development programme is second to none. We have so many unique activities I have trouble keeping up, which is only a good thing. My top two are... "a great place to think..." each month we have brilliant speakers who are leaders in their field and they tell us their great story. This is done at 4pm with a glass of wine in our relaxed training room. We have cover everything from bomb disposal to how GU desserts grew from nothing to being a market leader. "4 in 4" 4 people at 4pm get 4 minutes for their business changing idea. If they are successful they will get funded and personally coached by one of our senior management team. The energy and drive for change doesn't stop. This is not just lip service to an idea, it's lived and breathed by everyone from top to bottom.

Contras

Finding the next move is tough, the bar has been set very high

Prós

Very supportive of employees, many perks. RHP is a rapidly growing company so there are growing pains but management and HR always have an open door to address concerns. Yes, some departments have more growth positions than others but all managers I've observed are fair and supportive. Pay and benefits are good from my vantage point of view.

Contras

With all growing companies, there are growing pains. A department may become overloaded while RHP adjusts to bring in more people. Nature of the double-edged sword. In my seven years there, I've seen nothing more effort to support employees.

Good coaching, support, flexibility, regular raises

Contras

They could standardize their "promote from within" policy. Some managers are great about it, others not so much.
