In starting I was too much obsessed by this company but as per the time I got to know that this company is just a trap for employees. Because they want that there employees should sign a bond of 3 years (please don't think this bond will give you the job surety for 3 years). However they layoff there employees with in the time period of "Bond". So this means the Bond was only for the safety for the company not for the employees.

Just think of worst company.. and then think of more worst .. Do this process 100 times and I the end you will get Roots Analysis.

Thanks for putting in your view. It is too bad you feel this way while you are at Roots. Clearly it is not working out for you. Would request you to reach out to someone in the team to resolve whatever the issues are - assuming this is not a FAKE review. Re: Lock-in period The primary objective of the lock-in period is to maximize the learnings of the individuals. It requires time for most of the individuals (and resources from the firm on training) to transform into a smart professional who can really deliver. However, at Roots, if an individual is struggling (an exception) and not able to learn as smartly as peers even after 12-18 months, we believe it is best for the individual to find alternatives within the lock-in period. It is a huge loss for the firm but we believe this helps the individual if there is a wrong hiring decision made initially. This is more than a fair way of operating and supporting young careers - instead of asking them to work forcefully if they are not able to enjoy or deliver. Fact: in last 12 months, less than 5% of the analysts were underperforming. The analysts who were requested to leave from this pool were provided with enough support and time to be able to perform. We do understand sometimes it it just not meant to be despite the best support provided. Re: Lack of management We understand you are not happy with your current manager. Would request you to reach out to your coach OR to your buddy or alternative channels for course correction. The firm is young but smart – knows that we should learn from each negative experience. Continuing what we do everyday at Roots, would appreciate if you can help fix what is broken. Surely, we can do more and will continue to invest. Your inputs would certainly help improve.

Title: Excellent Learning Environment with Strong Growth Opportunities I have had a very positive experience working at the company and would highly recommend it to professionals who enjoy learning, taking ownership, and working in a fast-paced environment. Pros 1. Strong Learning Culture The company provides exposure to a wide variety of projects and business challenges. Employees are encouraged to think independently, solve problems, and continuously expand their skill sets. The learning curve can be steep, but it is highly rewarding for individuals who are willing to invest in their professional development. 2. Accessible Leadership One aspect I particularly appreciate is the accessibility of senior leadership. Employees have opportunities to interact directly with decision-makers, share ideas, and understand the broader business strategy. This level of exposure is uncommon in many organizations. 3. Merit-Based Growth Performance and contributions are recognized. Individuals who consistently deliver results and demonstrate initiative are given opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and advance in their careers. 4. Talented and Supportive Colleagues The company attracts ambitious and capable professionals. Team members are generally collaborative, willing to help one another, and committed to achieving shared goals. 5. Entrepreneurial Environment Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their work rather than simply execute assigned tasks. This creates a culture where innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued. 6. Flexible Work Arrangements The organization has embraced flexible ways of working while maintaining a strong focus on client delivery and business outcomes. This allows employees to manage their responsibilities effectively while maintaining productivity. 7. Continuous Business Growth The company continues to evolve, expand its capabilities, and explore new opportunities. Employees benefit from being part of an organization that is actively growing and investing in the future.

Contras

The work can be demanding during peak periods, and expectations are high. However, this is often the case in growth-oriented organizations and provides valuable learning and career development opportunities.
