Exposure to very, very intelligent people. High expectation to be a GTM expert on day 1 of employment. Presenting to c-level execs. Real people work here who expect excellent work, but also don't overreact to mistakes - at least as long as they aren't repeated
Contras
Recent acquisitions and rapid growth have greatly deteriorated the culture. Consulting org is increasingly pressed for resources and recent hiring decisions make no sense - MBA's with 8+ years of experience (2-3 years in consulting) are being hired at the same title as people with 2 years total work experience. Management continues to make outside hires at the EM & Dir level, who are rarely successful instead of promoting from within - even with promotion cycles around the corner. Consulting org sentiment on work/life balance has decreased quarter over quarter with little action or response from leadership. SBI regularly communicates a commitment to helping us reach our full potential, but the actions of leadership do not support that story through both hiring, coaching, and promotion decisions.
