I have learned more about industry and business practices than all of my previous jobs combined

Contras

The company is all about the bottom line. The amount that you agree on for pay is what you should expect for the rest of your employment while there. Employees in the Engineering department are just a means to an end for profit, no more no less. Raises are non- existent. Bonuses in this department, there are none. Performance reviews are only done to ensure that the employee never excels or exceeds the pay rate currently given.

Contras

Lack of Work-Life Balance: The company culture does not support a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal life, leading to burnout and dissatisfaction among employees. Poor Accountability: Management consistently fails to hold underperforming employees accountable, which places an unfair burden on high-performing team members. No Investment in Employee Development: There is little to no emphasis on career growth, skill development, or training opportunities, leaving employees stagnant in their roles. Compliance Issues: The company knowingly violates state and federal regulations, operating under the assumption that avoiding detection is an acceptable risk. This creates significant ethical and legal concerns. Unequal Workload Distribution: High-performing employees are often expected to compensate for the lack of effort or competence in others, which leads to resentment and decreased morale. Unqualified Decision-Makers: Critical decisions are frequently made by individuals who lack the necessary experience or qualifications, leading to inefficient processes and poor strategic outcomes.
