      Prós

      The Channel Company does a lot to show that they actually care about their employees, and they are committed to providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Even though I work remote, I still feel like a huge part of the company and have a strong sense of belonging. The company also has a strong commitment to supporting diversity, and showcases this with their communities (women of the channel and inclusive leadership network). There is plenty of opportunity to grow and learn, and the benefits are pretty good too. The company also does its best to help employees have a good work-life balance. All of the executives I’ve encountered so far (including the CEO) are wonderful people.

      Contras

      Since I work remote, it would be nice to have an in-person gathering to meet everyone - hopefully as covid settles the opportunity will come up!

      - fantastic schedule & work-life balance - unlimited PTO (that they actually let us use) - in-depth onboarding with plenty of hand-holding - job security & company growth - great teammates & leadership - strong female leadership - strong communication & process documentation -- I don't waffle around trying to understand what I need to do - encouragement of AI tools in use at work--save lots of time & energy on basic things that the various AI scripts can do.

      Contras

      - salary a little lower than industry standard (but still acceptable, considering the flexibility in the work) - lots of rigor in the processes--particularly if you are with AWS or similar partners that have a ton of specific programs and program reqs you need to know to best advise your partner set - Some tedium tied to being in a contractor type role--mirroring calendars, juggling multiple laptops, not really feeling that I can say I work for TCC (must say AWS). Very minor inconvenience.
