- Outdated computer information systems.
- Work/life balance. To make up for the low pay government positions used to offer incentives like work from home a few days a week, alternative work schedules (just work your 40 hours a week, start and end time changes as you want), and job security. All of these are gone or on their way out.
- Burnout. Entire teams have resigned, under the threat of being fired, or have been fired so the work of 20 people now rests on a single person. There is not enough staff. Literally half of this agency’s staff no longer exists.
