Prós

-Really good starting salary for starting position. -Flexible working schedule with ability to choose the amount working hours (20-40 h/week). -Positive work atmosphere. -Comfy office workplace with good equipment. -Not toxic and not corporate environment i.e. no unreasonable deadlines, no toxic management, and no tracking -Good benefits for students. Longer holidays (24 days vs 20 national), essentially unlimited unpaid days off (especially useful for exam session), food etc. -Great response to Covid-19. Every worker was required to work from home before the government mandate. Equipment and funding were given to set up a comfortable work environment at home. As of now, offices started moving to partial opening, but working in an office is voluntary for all employees.

Contras

Somewhat uncertain and long recruitment process. It took 1 month between receiving the test task and confirmation of employment and an additional 2 weeks to start first workday

Prós

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Contras

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
