Nice People and Promising Product

Contras

The company's senior management team has shown a worrying lack of competence and strategic foresight. Their decision-making, particularly in the realm of mergers and acquisitions, has been alarmingly poor. The decisions have not only been ill-conceived but consistently fail to take into account the long-term implications for the business. These M&A decisions appear to be based on short-term gains rather than strategic, long-term growth. This approach not only jeopardizes the company's current financial health but also its future prospects. The failure to conduct proper due diligence, integrate effectively, or foresee potential cultural clashes has resulted in a series of disastrous acquisitions that have drained resources, undermined morale, and distracted us from our core business. Moreover, this lack of strategic wisdom from senior leadership has created a climate of uncertainty and insecurity among employees. This, in turn, has had a negative impact on overall productivity and morale. The need for robust, visionary leadership that can make sound, informed decisions has never been more critical for the company's future.

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Contras

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
