Prós
This is a great company. I gained the majority of my industry knowledge while employed. I was always learning something new and the people are great. The work is creative, challenging, and on a national level so it's cool bragging rights if you're on the right projects. I was honestly very sad when I decided to leave.
Contras
The work if fun and challenging but it's a grind. They want you to log hours and hours of work. Whatever it takes to get the job done. It was fine while when I didn't have kids and staying until 7pm was no problem. I struggled to find a work life balance. I was also passed up for multiple promotions - one while I was on maternity leave. I loved the people and the work, but I just couldn't do the grind anymore. Yet - would I recommend this company? Yes, yes I would - if it fits your career goals.
