The contract supposed to be work from home.
Contras
I’m incredibly disappointed with how this company is handling its employees, especially those hired specifically to work from home. Out of nowhere, we’re being told we have to start commuting to the office in 30 days — giving us barely any time to rearrange our entire lives. Many of us took this job because of the promise of remote work, only to have that benefit stripped away without warning. For those of us who relocated or structured our lives around remote work, this sudden shift is extremely stressful. Commuting wasn’t something we signed up for, and now we’re left scrambling to find solutions — some of us facing long and expensive commutes we never agreed to. It’s not just disappointing; it feels like the company doesn’t value its employees’ well-being or work-life balance at all. The lack of communication, transparency, and empathy here is shocking. People are feeling demotivated, undervalued, and, quite frankly, betrayed. Instead of supporting us, this decision has led to a massive drop in morale and increased stress. Many of us are already looking for other opportunities with companies that actually respect the commitments they make to their employees.
