#2. What can you tell me about ALDI? I know they are a German owned company, they have a large private brand and they have a northern and southern division. Again this is a very primitive question and does nothing to weed out prospective candidates and shows nothing about their leadership ability. This question is rather cliche. And was put together with very little thought. The question was first used in the stone age. The thought process behind the question is to see if people are doing their due diligence into researching the company prior to being interviewed. It does show how much work you will put into your answer, however again the question is somewhat irrelevant.
