Man, they send standard Codility tests, it's been really popular first stage for software developers for like 5 recent years or so. I used to work there and both I and anyone else I knew there had to pass the same before the actual interview. Just because 2 of 3 of your snippets compiled doesn't mean it was performing well and all the edge cases were covered.
