You will be called on the phone, and told to come in for an in-person interview. Your writing skills will also be tested in a timed-response (1-2 days) question on your ability to convince a potential or past donor to lend their funds to the cause. You will not be able to tell from the interviewer on the phone whether you are being considered or not, but in-person will be far more telling.
